High Tech – Human Touch

This has been our calling card since the late 70s.  Even though we are located in a rather small community, it has always been our practice to continue to offer only the best and up to date medical technology.  I suppose we just thought the 70s were high tech.  I can only imagine what may come to technology in the next 40 years, but at least in this upcoming decade, the technology has simply been mind-blowing.

We continue to office the best in technology for cardiovascular (heart and blood vessel  testing) disease.  In 2009 we added digital x-ray which is a “no film” x-ray allowing us to view your x-ray on our computers in each examination room.  We can also burn you a CD to take your x-ray with you if you are going for further studies or other opinion.  Other physicians which you may encounter (with permission) can log onto our digital database and view your x-ray from their office or emergency room.

We have upgraded our computerized nerve and muscle testing ability (EMG) and have added an second c-arm (portable live x-ray) to allow for our spinal injections both in our Royse City Facility and our Greenville Injection Facility.

· The backbone to integration of our High Tech – Human Touch environment is our new amazing complete Electronic Medical Records System.  This system is distributed and maintained by Intuitive Medical Solutions, which is a cutting edge company in the area of electronic records.  We feel  this is the Rolls Royse of Electronic Systems on the market.  The development of this program was under the direction of a technologically brilliant physician who had the forethought of complete provision which was before its time.  This program allows us to quickly generate your VISIT NOTES which are ready to fax or email to another physician, a referring physician, your insurance company, and anyone requiring a copy of your visit, before you leave the office.  IMS allows the highest standard for the care of Diabetes with our DIABETIC MODULE.  We are able to download your home glucose readings from your monitor, analyze the values and adjust your medication dependent upon our results.   With our LAB TRACKING , your lab tests can be ordered “on the spot” and the results analyzed and returned to us electronically.  These results are then reviewed by a provider , recommendations are written on the lab result page, and your results are made available on our PATIENT PORTAL for your review.  The PATIENT PORTAL is an extremely valuable tool in your total healthcare.  The “portal” is your private (HIPPA APPROVED) gateway into YOUR medical office and YOUR medical record.  With the “portal” you can basically log into your chart allowing notification of lab or testing results, recommendations for your care, you may request, cancel, or change an appointment, ask for a prescription refill, or communicate with our office on any matter.  You may view and print near every document that has been placed in your medical record.  You may also view preventive healthcare measures for which you are due.  Our AUTOMATED APPOINTMENT REMINDER will call you on 2 occasions reminding you of an upcoming appointment.  Your medical record can also be accessed by your provider 24 hours a day/7 days a week in case of an emergency need.   The IMS program will also allow automated patient check in, authorization and referral tracking with notification when your referral is approved, FORM FILLING and DOCUMENT management for new patients or patients wishing to update their information from home.  Billing and automated insurance eligibility is built into the program.  IMS is continually working on upcoming INTUITIVE MEDICAL SOLUTIONS to continue to allow us to offer you the utmost in technology.  If you are a “private patient” in either our family practice or pain management clinics, you will quickly see the difference in the quality of your medical care.  If you have been referred to us by another provider, do not hesitate to suggest that your provider look into SuiteMed by Intuitive Solutions.
